VAMPS announce UK concert

Great news for UK fans of VAMPS – the musical outfit formed of HYDE (L’Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z. (Oblivion Dust) – a UK concert date has been announced for October.

VAMPS are scheduled to perform at the O2 Academy Islington on 7th October 2013.This forms part of a series of European gigs with dates also scheduled for Barcelona (28th Sept), Paris (1st Oct) and Berlin (3rd Oct). Plans for overseas adventures had been discussed earlier this year when VAMPS transferred to the Universal Music’s Delicious Deli Records label.

Earlier today, VAMPS had been promoting the release of their latest single ‘AHEAD/REPLAY’ on Nico Nico Live. As well as announcing the forthcoming tour, VAMPS announced plans for a new album titled ‘BLOOD, SEX, ROCK AND ROLL’ that’s due for release in October. Most of the songs will be previous VAMPS songs re-recorded and the entire album will be in English.

In the lead up to the UK gig in October, there will be a LIVE VIEWING event held this Sunday 7th July at 11am, at the RICH MIX CINEMA in Shoreditch, London. This will be a live broadcast of their gig that they are playing in Tokyo and will be a great opportunity to see VAMPS live performance first-hand.
