Coppé returns to the UK for September and October as part of her new tour in conjunction with London-based record label Bit-Phalanx.
Hailed as “The Legendary Godmother of Japanese Electronica”, Coppé (whom we interviewed in 2012) is a regular visitor to these shores and the new venture is billed as the ‘Null + Void’ Tour as she gets ready to issue two new releases via her own Mango + Sweetrice label. ‘Null’ is a five track EP set for a digital release on 30th September, while Void’ will be her 15th album to date featuring 22 new tracks spread across a unique CD + CD-sized 5″ mini vinyl record package.
To celebrate the release of ‘Null’ and ‘Void’, the UK tour will take in some of the UK’s most loved venues, will venture as far north as Scotland for the first time, and will be joined joined by some very special guests again, including Dutch electronic producer Kettel, Mixmaster Morris and Björk’s favourite Finnish electro-pop minx HK119 will also join Coppé in London for an exclusive set from her recent acclaimed ‘Imaginature’ album (One Little Indian Records).
The ‘Null’ EP will be available to download from all usual online retailers from Monday 30th September.
The album ‘Void’ will be available to download or as a Deluxe CD + 5″ mini-vinyl glossy gatefold sleeve edition from Monday 14th October (Advance physical copies available during the tour), all through Mango + Sweetrice Records.
