This week sees the launch of ELECTRONIC SOUND, a new iPad only format monthly publication from the team behind ELECTRONIC Magazine (which previously featured items on Coppé and Ryuichi Sakamoto).
The new publication promises to expand on covering electronic music with an experienced team of music journalists (including Electricity Club and J-Pop Go scribe Chi Ming Lai). The debut issue has a focus on artists such as OMD, KARL BARTOS, DEPECHE MODE and GARY NUMAN as well as looking at emerging acts such as Greek synth duo MARSHEAUX (who did a wonderful remix of SAORI YUKI‘s Yoake no Scat last year). Future issues also promise move coverage of J-Pop artists, particularly with an increasing global interest in many contemporary Japanese musical outfits.
ELECTRONIC SOUND is available exclusively in iPad format for an introductory price of 69p from the Apple iTunes Store at https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/electronic-sound-magazine/id628044956?mt=8
