One of the exciting events as part of next month’s HYPER JAPAN is a special talk with Mr. Hisamitsu Ishikawa, of Production I.G. and acclaimed Japanese anime critic Ryusuke Hikawa.
Production I.G. are best known as the company behind such anime titles as Ghost In The Shell, Patlabor, The End of Evangelion, Blood: The Last Vampire, xxxHolic and the FLCL OVA series. They were also responsible for the anime sequences in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill. The Japan Media Arts Festival will be presenting an exclusive talk with Hisamitsu Ishikawa, who is CEO of Production I.G., as well as with Ryusuke Hikawa who has had many articles and books published on the topic of anime. The talks will be held on the HYPER JAPAN 2012 Christmas Main Stage.
