As many regular visitors will have noticed, J-Pop Go has been largely dormant in recent times. This is mainly due to the various members of the JPG team focussing on outside projects and new work ventures. At the same time, there’s also some thought on how and where J-Pop Go fits in today with the modern J-Pop world (a question we are still pondering over).
Separate from this, the JPG website has also faced some tough challenges as our rich archive of articles, reviews and interviews suffered from some damage which resulted in many features being corrupted or missing graphic elements. Behind the scenes, there’s been an ongoing effort to repair and rebuild that archive which has been a slow process due to the work involved.
We are looking at fresh ideas and plans to run in conjunction with that rebuilding effort, so stick around for new updates to follow as we plot out the future…
