AMECON is the UK’s largest anime convention – and J-Pop Go will be there.
The convention is a fan-run event which has been running since 2004 and features a whole weekend of activities including cosplay shows, panels, pub quiz, parties, anime screenings, guests and much more. J-Pop Go will be attending and also taking part in the J-Pop Lounge event which takes place on Sunday. Along for the ride are DJ Tasuki, DJ Yamada, DJ genkiboi and Team WOTA – so join us all for the Sunday 8pm slot.
AmeCon is also supporting the AID FOR JAPAN charity. This charity was set up by Akemi Solloway (already a well-known figure on the UK Japanese cultural scene) following the Japanese earthquake/tsunami tragedy last year. The aim of the charity is to help and support the orphans who were the victims of the disaster. Visit http://www.aidforjapan.org.uk for more details.
