J-Pop Go will be making at appearance at the LONDON ANIME CON this July courtesy of DJ genkiboi and DJ Tasukidaisuki who will be spinning a selection of tunes covering J-Pop, Idol, Vocaloid, Anime and Game themes.
J-Pop Go will be handling DJ duties for the Saturday evening portion of the event. WOTA will also be providing a DJ slot on Saturday evening as part of a packed schedule of events across the weekend. Key highlights will include the UK debut of Japanese sensation Yama-B (ex vocalist/co-founder of Japanese band Galneryus, number one power-metal band in Japan).
Sunday features a Final Fantasy Concert with a range of live-music based around the game. This is followed by the Bass Invaders Rave at 9pm. Other treats include a dance performance by Cinnamon Purin (featuring Marshmallow Llama Time’s Finny Attridge).
The LAC takes place on 20-21 July at The Rocket Complex at Metropolitan University, 166-220 Holloway Road N7 8DB.
Tickets include access to all the parties and late-night events up until 1am on the Saturday and midnight on the Sunday. The event also offers the option of buying an evening only ticket for just £5 on the door after 6pm. The parties shall feature Free Glowsticks, Free lollipops, Dance-Off Contests with Dancers and Variety Acts through to past midnight. The LAC also features a range of alternate late-night events including Karaoke, casual gaming, anime screenings and much more to check out.
Discount tickets are also available for the entire weekend from 10.30am through to past midnight each day, almost 30 hours worth of anime, gaming, cosplay, live music and parties for just £16 here.
