Following on from the release of her latest single Trap earlier this year, MEG has a new album titled WEAR I AM scheduled for October.
The singer-songwriter has been releasing material since 2002 and began collaborating with producer Yasutaka Nakata (capsule, Perfume, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu) in 2007, switching to an electropop style. Her album Aquaberry charted at No. 1 the same year. 2010 saw MEG releasing compilation album Best Flight before switching to the Unborde Records label the next year.
Outside of music, MEG has also paved her way with a separate career as designer and model, including the creation of her own label Carolina Glaser. Her work included the supervision of Uniqlo’s UT collection, an iPhone for Softbank and also a collaboration for Evangelion: You Can (Not) Advance.
The new album WEAR I AM features production work from m-flo’s Taku Takahasi as well as Nakata Yasutaka. The track listing for the album is:
