The 2003 anime series LAST EXILE was a breathtaking combination of stunning visuals (featuring designs by famed illustrator Range Murata) and gripping story.
One of the elements of the series that made it work so well was the music that featured – including contributions from Japanese musicians Hitomi Kuroishi and Shuntaro Okino.
J-Pop Go’s Paul Browne has written a feature on the music of LAST EXILE for the Manga Entertainment website which you can read here: http://www.mangauk.com/
