Former BiS member YUFU TERASHIMA has revealed the video for her debut solo release ‘Youflight’.
‘Youflight’, as previously reported, was penned by Yumemi Nemu (DEMPAGUMI INC) and composed by rionos (who is also working with former AKB48 star Erena Ono).
The bright and airy ‘Youflight’ has an understated charm to it that’s a world apart from Yuffy’s BiS days. But it’s bonus track ‘Zen Zen’ that stands out as a track which has more of a pop sensibility to it, augmented with some fine electropop tweaks. The new songs show that she has a more than capable voice and that she’s adaptable to a variety of styles. It’s been a bit of a journey for Yufu who departed from Brand-new Idol Society in 2013, allegedly for being “too serious” for the antics of the group. But the new single and approach shows that she’s keen to pave her own way
The single, which was released on 26th February, is issued in 3 different flavours: Limited Edition, Visual Edition and Regular Edition. The Limited Edition will come with a booklet and the Visual Edition will feature a DVD.
Yufu has also launched her brand new official website and YouTube channel so fans can keep up to speed with her tunes.
